FAQ: How do you choose where to go next?

Our number one most asked question is: Where is your favorite place?

But a close follow up is probably: How do you choose where to go?

It’s become increasingly hard to choose where to go, to be honest. I’m befuddled at where we’re going to be next week, when it seems that formerly, I had a very specific drive and idea of countries to visit.

But as time has gone on, and we have both seen more and I have become more receptive to seeing anything and everything, the amount of choice is in fact bewildering.

So, here is a list of reasons why we have chosen where we have gone. It can be grouped into the following categories. The first reason is the most common.
